Frequently Asked Questions

Get Informed

Got questions? We've covered the most common ones below.

If you're still unsure about something, just give Miles a call.

What areas do you service?

We’re based in Auckland and work across the wider Auckland region, including residential suburbs and small commercial sites. If you're not sure if we cover your area, just give us a call.

How much does paving cost?

Paving costs vary depending on the size of the area, the materials you choose, and the complexity of the job. We’re happy to provide a no-obligation quote - just get in touch.

Can you uplift and relay my existing driveway or patio?

Yes, we offer uplift and relay services for driveways and patios. If your paving is looking tired but the base is still solid, we can lift, clean, and re-lay it to give it a fresh new look without the cost of full replacement.

What is permeable paving and why would I need it?

Permeable paving allows water to drain through the surface, helping prevent puddles and runoff. It’s ideal for areas where drainage is a concern - like driveways or patios on sloped sections - and it’s great for the environment too.

How long will the job take?

It depends on the size and scope of the project. Small patios can take a couple of days, while larger driveways or retaining walls may take a bit longer. We’ll give you a clear timeline before we begin, so you know what to expect.

Do you work with builders or just homeowners?

We do both. We've worked with group home builders like Fletcher Living, as well as with private homeowners. Whether it's a new build or an upgrade, we bring the same level of care to every job.

What kind of paving materials do you use?

We work with a range of materials including cobblestone, permeable pavers, concrete pavers, and keystone blocks for retaining walls. We can help you choose the right option based on your needs and budget.

Are your retaining walls council-approved?

For most standard jobs, council consent isn’t needed. But if you're planning a wall over a certain height or on a boundary, we can guide you through the process and work with your builder or engineer if needed.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. We stand by the quality of our work. If there are any issues, we’ll sort them — simple as that.
